Filter & Intake Hose
Improving airflow is one of the easiest ways to gain power, so we contacted Forge Motorsport for one of its silicone intake hose. Euro Sport Accessories also provided us with an ITG drop-in filter for $64.95.
The Forge hose replaces the plastic factory tube. It removes restrictions and is available in black, red and blue for $180.
 To gain access to the filter...  To gain access to the filter and intake hose, first remove the airbox behind the passenger-side headlight. Begin by undoing two Phillips screws on the air duct at the top of the engine bay |  Then remove two Phillips screws...  Then remove two Phillips screws from the top of the airbox |  Loosen the clamp for the top...  Loosen the clamp for the top of the intake tube |

 Now free the intake hose....  Now free the intake hose. There are five clamps integrated into the tube |  It's a good idea to keep the...  It's a good idea to keep the Forge piece close by to see where the clamps are located on the stock hose |  With both intake hoses side-by-side,...  With both intake hoses side-by-side, transfer the auxiliary hoses to the Forge piece. Three pieces need to be swapped. Tighten the hoses to the Forge piece using the supplied clamps |
