As weve stated in prior story installments, it may be the least expensive BMW, but with assistance from AC Schnitzers exclusive North American importer Claus Ettensberger Corporation (CEC), the 323Ci is very receptive to the improvements in street performance and styling.
The purposefully streamlined contours of the new 3-Series coupe can further be improved, both visually and functionally, with the installation of AC Schnitzers aero-styling package. Constructed of durable polyurethane, the front spoiler has been painstakingly designed to re-direct air flow and assist in front brake cooling, all while improving the overall appearance of BMWs E-36 replacement. The side skirts further enhance the fluid German lines of the redesigned coupe, while the rear lip valance wraps up the entire package, allowing for use of AC Schnitzers very own stainless steel sports exhaust for increased performance. A roof spoiler and three-piece trunk-mount wing round out the AC Schnitzer aero-styling package, all available from authorized CEC dealers nationwide. The use of European-spec lighting crowns the list of improvements in this months installment of All Things AC Schnitzer.
As with Part Zwei, this months installment found us again at the CEC showroom in West LA. While visiting CEC, our E-46 coupe was treated to AC Schnitzers award-winning aero-styling package, AC Schnitzer stainless steel sports exhaust, and European-spec lighting. The professionals at Body Pros again handled paint needs, while CECs head technician, Thomas Orso, oversaw installation. Stay tuned to MAX next month for another installment as our 3-Series coupe receives performance seating and harnesses from Cobra and Schroth.
