The smaller pulley spins the supercharger faster, increasing boost and thus airflow to enhance low-end torque. However, the factory ECU was designed to bleed-off extra boost pressure, so the APR ECU upgrade prevents bleed-off into the intake system, allowing the higher boost levels to generate more power. The claimed result is 320awhp and 342 lb-ft on 91-octane. The kit comes with a pulley and belt. An optional item to consider is the pulley installation kit to help remove the stubborn OEM pulley.
