Californian tuning specialist Vorsteiner debuted its Ferrari 599-VX conversion, marking its first foray into the Ferrari field. However, the 599 is said to be the beginning of what is to come for Ferrari applications.
The concept for the 599-VX project was to create a comprehensive package to encompass a marriage between lightweight aerodynamics, performance exhaust and wheels.
The 599-VX aerodynamic package is claimed to be 70% lighter than the factory pieces. It consists of a front fascia, louvered hood, side sill extension blades, rear fender intake covers, rear wing and rear bumper with diffuser.
All of the 599-VX aerodynamic components are made from our latest pre-preg autoclave carbon technology for weight savings and high quality.
The 599-VX package also includes a limited-edition one-piece forged monoblock wheel specifically manufactured for the car. It features a true I-Beam spoke profile in conjunction with under-cut pocketing to yield maximum weight savings without compromising strength.
The exterior of the car has also been wrapped in Meguiar’s Wraptivo vinyl film technology using a matte glacier white color with contrasting matte black roof and red racing accents.
Lastly, the 599-VX exhaust system was a joint venture between Vorsteiner and BBI, developed to fit in the redesigned rear bumper.
