The NA Motorsports booth debuted the new BSH turbo kit. It's a turn-key solution for the Mk5 2.0T and includes a tubular manifold, 3" downpipe, dump tube and inlet. Both Revo and Unitronic will have software for the kit. A multitude of turbos have been tested for compatibility, including Garrett GT2860RS, 2871R, 3071R, 3076R and 35R. C2 Motorsports had its 430hp stage 3 R32 turbo conversion that includes a 6265 Precision turbo with billet turbine, plug-n-play fuel pump kit, 450 lb/ft DSG software with launch control and faster shifting via direct port upload (similar to photo)
Built to withstand 600-1200hp, the new oversize disc from Clutchmasters caught the eye of big-turbo Dubbers. Named 850-Series because it uses a 8.5" twin-disc, the clutch allows smoother engagement and holds more power with its larger size. There are also different friction disc combinations. Applications include VW/Audi 1.8T, 3.2 VR6 and S4 2.7T. Prices start at $1950 (www.clutchmasters.com)
C2 Motorsports also had its new short-runner intake manifold for the 2.5 Rabbit motor. Mated with its new exhaust cam and software, expect to see gains of 40 lb/ft at the wheels and a 7200rpm ability. There was also a short-runner manifold for the Mk5 R32 (www.c2motorsports.net)
Spec showed off its new twin- and triple-disc clutches for the Mk4 R32. The twin can handle 800 lb-ft, while the triple is estimated to withstand 1200 lb-ft! Prices starts at $1399 (www.specclutch.com)
