Making its debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show is the Special Edition Lotus Elise Club Racer. It introduces exclusive new color schemes, bespoke interior and lightweight components in a world class, high performance and low emission sportscar boasting 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds and a combined fuel consumption of 37.2mpg (Imperial)
Lotus has taken four of the classic color schemes used by Lotus in the 1960s (Elite Yellow, Carbon Grey, Sky Blue and Old English White) and combined them with exclusive Club Racer interior design features to create a sportscar that morphs function and form.
The firm and supportive Elise seats are clad with lightweight microfibre comfort pads, positioned for the right amount of support with the minimal amount of weight, yet keeping part of the body-colored seat shell exposed.
The exterior color theme is carried over to the transmission tunnel and combined with silver and black highlights, bisecting the cockpit and tying together the sporty theme unique to the Club Racer.
Other exclusive interior features are the anthracite anodized shift knob and e-brake sleeve, the Club Racer (CR) logo embroidered on the headrest and anodized aluminum flooring in the footwells.
The lightweight six-spoke wheels, shod in Yokohama AD07 LTS tires are also anthracite anodized, complementing the interior components.
