Citroen's concept supercar, the GTbyCitroen, which was designed for the Gran Turismo driving game on the PlayStation3, took to the streets of central London to recreate part of the London `street circuit' featured in the game.
Taking in some of the Capital's famous landmarks, the virtual-turned-reality supercar swapped pixels for Piccadilly Circus as it swept through to Regent Street, rounded Trafalgar Square and cruised down the Mall past Buckingham Palace.The result of a unique partnership between Citroen and Polyphony Digital Inc (creators of the Gran Turismo series), the GTbyCitroen concept measures nearly 15ft long and just over 3ft high. It has an impressive design sporting wide air intakes, rear diffuser, horizontal LED headlamps, gullwing doors and diamond-effect 21" wheels.
Inside, the cabin offers a refined racing experience with copper, steel and black leather finishes combined with hi-tech racing controls.
