Last month we ran the results of our sixth Photochop Challenge. We printed the top examples from the challenge to create a VW CC. This time, we're giving you a photo of the Mini Clubman to manipulate in any way you see fit.The Mini Clubman is an interesting vehicle. It's a derivative of the regular Mini with a fascinating rear door arrangement and slightly longer wheelbase. In its Cooper S form, the Clubman is available with a 1.6 turbo motor, although there are the hotter John Cooper Works cars to consider as well. Both offer the possibility of sticking a front-mount behind the grille for an upgraded turbo.

With Mini's long history of motorsport involvement, we can't help thinking the Clubman would look great with rally mods as perhaps a WRC version, or perhaps a wilder version of the Mini Challenge racers. Its long side panels might also work as a retro delivery van, woodie or surf wagon. As always, the possibilities are endless, so we'd love to see what you could make from this endearing Clubman. And don't be afraid of having a go, even if you've never done it before. Every time we've run a Challenge, a photochop virgin almost always makes it into the top ten. We're constantly amazed at how good many of the first-time chops have been, proving you don't need years of experience to have a go.
Using the Clubman as a blank canvas for your photochop skills, all you have to do is either scan this photo from the magazine or click on the image as it gets progressively larger until it fits your entire screen.
The rest is up to you!
We don't mind what you do, provided you use this photo as a starting point. After that, the only limitation is your imagination. You can change the color, add wheels, spoilers, widebody, seats, lights or stickers, change the background, whatever turns you on.
And since we like to reward effort, we've again joined forces with DC Shoes to donate another pair of its awesome Pro Spec 1.0 competition driving shoes to the best effort. These cost around $200, but we'll award a pair to the photochop entry we select as the most creative. Since we're giving away one pair of Pro Specs, let us know your shoe size when you submit your entry. Although we have to point out for legal reasons, this isn't a competition. It's a challenge, and just for fun.Get your entries to us by 4/20/09 - that gives you more than eight weeks after this issue goes on sale to create something sensational.
You can email your entries to eurotuner@sourceinterlink.com but please ensure your images are a minimum of 500Kb at 300dpi, or we won't be able to print them. However, they can't be too big either, or they'll jam our email system. So they shouldn't be more than 2Mb files. If they exceed this limit, please copy them to a CD and mail it to us at Photochop, eurotuner magazine, 6420 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048.
One word of warning; some email servers (such as Hotmail, etc) sometimes automatically compress attachments. So please check the size of your image won't be reduced when your send it to us. You could try emailing it to yourself or a friend beforehand to verify.
We also require extra information along with your photochop image. Please ensure we have your full name, city you live in and your shoe size. We also need a list of the mods you've carried out to the Clubman - this is all very important if you win.
When emailing us, please put your name as the subject of the email (ie, Andrew Thorn Mini Photochop) and do the same for the name of your jpeg image (ie, andrewthornMini1.jpg). This will help us identify your image and collate your details when it comes time to select the shortlist for publication.
Remember, this Photochop Challenge is just for fun, so there are none of the usual competition rules. You can be a professional or amateur - we don't care. You can even have a go with pen and paper if your grasp of computer technology leaves something to be desired. However, your entry will be taken as permission to reproduce your artwork in the magazine, online and in other media.
