One of the most significant bottlenecks in the VW/Audi 2.0T motor is its intercooler. So AWE has unveiled a new front-mount system for the B7 Audi A4. Designed with cast aluminum end tanks, in-house testing found a 27F decrease in intake temperatures while also improving flow. On their chipped test vehicle, it showed a 14hp increase. The new FMIC will fit both S-Line or non S-Line bumpers without cutting or trimming.

Kenwood has introduced three new DVD receivers featuring customizable graphic interfaces plus USB and iPod controls. There are two double-DIN options and a single-DIN with 7" flip-out screen. If you want the larger units, you can select from 6.1" or 6.95" versions. All three receivers have touchscreen ability and plenty of customization options. Each is also prepped for navigation and satellite radio.

The thing most people hate about car stereos is the excessive space they occupy in the trunk. This is especially a deterrent for smaller cars. The sound output and quality is apparently surprising for such a little box and only requires moderate power.

If you're a new Mercedes owner wanting more power over the factory air filter without going to a cone system, aFe has a solution. Manufactured as a factory replacement, its new filter fits all '07-08 C-, CL-, CLS-, E-, ML-, R- and S-Class cars. Company testing apparently showed an impressive 21% increase in airflow over the factory filter. This is partly thanks to the filters' progressive seal, which maximizes fitment and function, as well as pleat spacing to improve filtration and airflow. All filters are washable and reusable.
