KnockLite
TurboXS * MSRP: Website
Info: www.turboxs.com
Mistake that odd noise coming from under your hood as a loose bolt, and you might be looking at an entire engine rebuild. Harmful engine knocking and detonation can occur without you even knowing it, until now. TurboXS warns drivers of these potential risks with the KnockLite, a device that can be connected to factory or aftermarket knock sensors. The slightest hint of a disruption activates the LED warning light, so you can ease off the throttle to save your motor. As if that isn't enough, it also comes with a programmable shift light.

Redesigned for the new E90 3-Series and E60 5-Series, the MK1 comes in staggered fitments with a 20x9" front and 20x10.5" rear. Plus, it still features its trademark 110mm lip. MK Motorsport wheels can be purchased from authorized dealers. Check the website above for availiability.
Golf GTI Pirelli
One of the best-known, limited edition models from Europe has been resurrected in the Mk5 Golf GTI Pirelli Edition. But is it as good as the original? It was first introduced in '83 with specially-designed "P" wheels, that had Ps cut into the edges to represent Pirelli. Unfortunately, the new version comes up short with bland styling and 18x7.5" wheels. Featuring a "P" in the rim flange, the wheels are matched with 225/40-18 P-Zero tires. The only fancy feature on this car is the seat center panels. Instead of the GTI diamond pattern, they are suedette with an embedded tire tread design. This new GTI will be available in Europe, but we're not holding our breath for a US model. Except maybe for the Pirelli's unique Sunflower paint (www.vw.com).
Shallen FX Wheels

It bears a full five-spoke design and would be right at home on any Euro. Built to OE spec, these hellacious hoops come in ash metal and matte black finishes. They're offered in 19 and 20" sizes, with widths stretching to 10". If timeless quality and pure performance are what you're after, look no further than these rims.

OSIR Design Zero Square
Zmaxautosport * MSRP: $26.99
Info: www.zmaxautorsport.com
Searching for the perfect gift for the enthusiast who has everything, without breaking your wallet? Look no further than OSIR Design's newest line of replacement key covers, the Zero Square. Sold in sets of two, they are availiable in silver, chrome or dark chrome for your Audi or VW ignition key. The stock button cover simply slides off and can be replaced by the new alloy cover, along with a rubber strip for the buttons. The sleek design helps prevent hitting buttons accidentally when in your pocket.
(I picked up one of these covers because my remote was wearing and I couldn't see the icons any more. Although the OSIR unit doesn't show the icons, it did rejuvenate their appearance. Installation was a piece of cake.
My only gripe is using my nail to click the buttons, which is rather fiddly.-SD)
