Last month we ran the results of our fifth Photochop Challenge. We printed the top examples from the challenge to create a paint scheme for a BMW touring car. This time, we're going back to basics and giving you a photo of the new VW CC to manipulate in any way you see fit.

The VW Passat CC is an interesting vehicle. It's a sort of "poor man's Mercedes CLS" with its coupe-style sloping rear window, four-door body and large front grille. The CC will be available with the GTI's 2.0T and six-speed tranny or the 3.6 liter VR6 motor. Either way, that opens up the possibility of sticking a front-mount behind the grille for an upgraded turbo. Then we can't help thinking this would look great with a set of Brabus wheels and discreet body styling, dropped on the ground. Or maybe you might want to go widebody. Or how about a DTM racing version? The possibilities are endless, so we'd really like to see what you can make from this new Volkswagen.
And don't be afraid of having a go yourself, even if you've never done it before. Every time we've run a Photochop Challenge, a photochop virgin always seems to make it into the top ten. We're constantly amazed at how good many of the first-time chops have been, proving you don't need years of experience to have a go.
Using the Passat CC as a blank canvas for your photochop skills, all you have to do is either scan this photo from the magazine, or visit eurotuner.com and download the image. The rest is up to you.
We don't mind what you do, provided you use this photo as a starting point. After that, the only limitation is your imagination. You can change the color, add wheels, spoilers, widebody, seats, lights, stickers, whatever turns you on.And since we like to reward effort, we've again joined forces with DC Shoes to donate another pair of its awesome Pro Spec 1.0 competition driving shoes to the best effort. It's a challenge, and just for fun.Get your entries to us by 11/16/08 - that gives you eight weeks after this issue goes on sale to create something sensational.
You can email your entries to eurotuner@primedia.com but please ensure your images are a minimum of 500Kb at 300dpi, or we won't be able to print them. However, they can't be too big either, or they jam our email system. So they shouldn't be more than 2Mb files. If they exceed this limit, please copy them to a CD and mail it to us at Photochop, eurotuner magazine, 6420 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048.
One word of warning; some email servers (such as Hotmail) sometimes automatically compress attachments. So please check the size of your image won't be reduced when your send it to us. You could try emailing it to yourself or a friend beforehand to verify.

We also require some extra information along with your photochop image. Please ensure we have your full name, city you live in and your shoe size. We also need a list of the mods you've carried out to the CC.
When emailing us, please put your name as the subject of the email (ie, Andrew Thorn CC Photochop) and do the same for the name of your jpeg image (ie, andrewthornCC1.jpg). This will help us identify your image and collate your details when it comes time to select the shortlist for publication.
Remember, this Photochop Challenge is just for fun, so there are none of the usual competition rules. You can be a professional or amateur - we don't care. You can even have a go with pen and paper if your grasp of computer technology leaves something to be desired. However, your entry will be taken as permission to reproduce your artwork in the magazine, online and in other media.So have a go and we look forward to seeing the results.
