This is your opportunity to show us your photochop skills with the new BMW 1-Series.
Last month we ran the results of our third Photochop Challenge. We printed 40 of the best entries and you can also find them online at eurotuner.com
Everybody seemed to enjoy the Challenge, and even some Audi officials took notice. So we've decided to give you another subject to get your teeth into this month. And don't be afraid of having a go yourself, even if you've never done it before. Every time we've run a Photochop Challenge, a photochop virgin always seems to make it into the top ten. We were amazed at just how good many first-time efforts were, proving you don't need years of experience to have a go.
For this month's challenge we contacted our friends at BMW, who kindly gave us permission to use this image of the brand new 1-Series 135i. This 300hp coupe will be the next big thing on the Euro tuning scene, with its compact dimensions, twin-turbo motor and rear-wheel drive.
Obviously BMW has done its best to make the car look special, but we know it's simply a blank canvas for your photochop skills. All you have to do is either scan this photo from the magazine, or visit eurotuner.com and download the image. The rest is up to you.
We don't mind what you do, provided you use this photo as a starting point. After that, the only limitation is your imagination. You can change the color, add wheels, spoilers, seats, widebody, lights, stickers - in fact, whatever turns you on.
And since we like to reward effort, we've again persuaded DC Shoes to donate another pair of its awesome Pro Spec 1.0 competition driving shoes. These are brand new and cost around $200, but we'll award a free pair to the photochop entry we select as the best.
The FIA-approved Pro Spec comes in several cool colors. They were developed and are used by DC Shoes' Ken Block; co-founder of the premier skate shoe company and a Subaru rally driver.
Since we're giving away a pair of Pro Specs to the best photochop, be sure to let us know your shoe size when you submit your entry. Although we have to point out for legal reasons that this isn't a competition; it's a challenge, and just for fun.
Get your entries to us by 1/14/08 - that gives you about eight weeks after this issue goes on sale to create something sensational.
