Could you do another old-school issue devoted to older cars? Perhaps a '74 Bavaria or a '65 1600 and I'd be happy.Wesley BryantAmarillo, TX
No matter what we try, it's never enough. Anyway, old skool can refer to a style as well as an era.
Stop BitchingIt seems to me that a car is a car, even if it's not a Euro. I own a Mitsubishi and I still subscribe to eurotuner because I love cars. I also subscribe to Sport Compact Car, but I don't hear half the bitching about Euros being featured in that mag. You should be able to comment on a Honda if you choose.
To all those readers who keep writing in about Japanese vehicles and what junk they are, it looks like they are afraid of something. Maybe it is because in the Time Attack coverage in the 2/05 issue, the closest a Euro could come was fourth place.Isaac WilliamsEmail
No Ventos?I don't understand it. Do you guys think the Mk3 Jetta was designed in Detroit? I pick up your magazine now and then, and I've probably seen more Focuses and Hondas (ugh) in there than Jettas. I love the magazine, and the cars you show are usually unique and interesting to read about, but I'm getting tired of the Mk4 GTIs featured on every other page. You don't even need to show photos of what's under the hood anymore because everybody can guess it's a chipped 1.8T.
I don't understand why I've never seen a Mk3 Jetta in your magazine, except for Readers' Rides. Even the Mk4 Jetta is rarely featured and written about. I obviously drive a Mk3 Jetta and would like to see somebody represent us for once.Brandon InvinciblePitman, NJ
Fair point. We've been talking to several owners, but most of the cars are being built as we write. Hopefully you'll start to see some filtering through over the coming months.
Poster FanI just want to say I hope you keep putting posters in the mag.James HallEmail
There should be one in every issue.
