With the owner having approached every aspect of the car so carefully, you probably won't be surprised to learn he continued this inside. "Having come from a BMW I loved the Audi interior but slid around on the leather seats too much. So I looked for some S4 seats to replace them but couldn't find any so eventually ordered some ultra-suede and had the center of each seat re-covered," he said. "After that, all I wanted was a boost gauge in a pillar-mount. So I contacted Supreme Power Parts again. At the time they didn't have the cloth to trim the pod to match my car so they offered to trim all my pillars in S4 black cloth," Todd continued.
At last year's Waterfest, Todd's car was in the GMP Performance booth when somebody from Boston Acoustics wandered past and inquired why there wasn't a system in the car. Todd informed him that he planned to deal with that last, once everything else was done. The Boston man handed him a card and told him to get in contact once he was ready. "They took real good care of me when I did get in touch," Todd confirmed. "I'm not big into stereos but it turned out really nice. I got all their speakers and amps, apart from the head unit, CD changer and satellite radio."
With a neat installation in the trunk, Todd's a happy man. In fact, he had the shortest list of future mods we've ever encountered. "We're getting to the limits of what we can achieve with this motor," he told us. "So I'm going to get it built and push for 375hp at the wheels. I don't know if it's possible but between APR and my mechanic Brian Rose, it should be achievable."
So there may still be something over the horizon, but we're always happy to see a guy who's content with what he's got. And with a car this perfect, Todd has every reason to be satisfied.
