Go ahead: rub those eyes as much as you want. But roll your tongue back in your mouth because you're attracting flies. What you see before you is indeed one of only a few and quite possibly the only DTM widebody C32m in the country. Since its introduction, the CLK DTM has gained legendary status. "There isn't much of a market for Mercedes in the States, so most cars look identical," Jerry Lin explained. And that's what tempted Jerry to revamp his '03 C32 AMG.
After all, it was that same passion to be different that led him to purchase the car in the first place. "My brother had a 330ci and I wanted an E46 M3 but since they were so similar, I bought the C32 instead," he explained.
And it was a wise choice. The C32 comes stock with a supercharged 3.2 V6 with 350hp to the crank and 330 lb/ft and all the creature comforts you'd expect from a Mercedes. But even with substantial power and luxurious appointments, Jerry felt he had to break the mold.
