The problem for suspension companies is getting people to look at their products. In fact, it's often difficult to let people know the suspension even exists because it's always hidden under the car. However, European suspension specialists, H-Sport, had a cunning plan. They decided to do something about this dilemma and built the brightest car they could envisage.
In this instance, the brightest of the bright was House of Kolor's Tangelo metallic, which you may recognize from the TT on the cover of the 11/04 issue. If you saw it, you'll certainly remember it, because this paint really catches your attention.
Once H-Sport has grabbed your attention, it wants you to know this car has real substance. In fact, it may be one of the best-handling FWD Golfs in the country.We'd encourage you to read the suspension testing article elsewhere in this issue, where we spent the day sampling different suspension setups for the car and recording lap times to measure the improvements. It makes interesting reading but also proves this is no show queen. This GTI has to earn its living, and that includes letting ham-fisted et staff behind the wheel.
