Sunday 10 August saw the return of the popular Socal Euro event to San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium. The turn was huge and the vent attracted its usual mixture of European cars, from the mainstream VW, Audi and BMW to large groups of Mercedes, Volvo and Mini owners.

We took our BMW 135i project car along and shared booth space with Evolution Racewerk's track-prepped 135i.
Coolest car of the day was the new Fiat 500 that magically appeared in the parked rows, but then disappeared when we tried to get a shot of it. The Honda-powered old-school Mini was another winner from our perspective.
The sizable crowd was able to browse the booths of many of Southern California's finest tuning shops, with a dearth of wheels, brakes and suspension on offer.
