The Best of Waterfest 2009
Despite the forecast of rain and thunderstorms, the East Coast's hardcore Dubheads came out in force to show their work in the warm sunshine.
With so many cars on display, getting to see them all is a full-time job, so we apologize if we missed yours, or simply didn't have space here. But hopefully, we've captured a slice of the very best vehicles from the show area, as well as some of the most controversial.
It's always interesting for us to speak to show visitors, and we've also included photos of some readers who came to chat. Furthermore, we paid close attention to the cars that were drawing the crowds. A few of them weren't necessarily to our taste, but they seemed to be popular, so you'll find them here as well.ere.
As always, we're busy chasing owners so we can capture some of these cars for a full feature, allowing us to investigate them in greater detail. Hopefully, you'll be seeing the fruits of our labor over the coming months. In fact, you can already enjoy two of WF15's finest in this issue but we have plenty more to come.
Thanks to everybody who made WF15 so entertaining: to the guys who drove to the event with us on Kreuzerfest, the drunks we met in the hotel, the people partying in the car park all night, the crowds at Chilis who partied hard, the drag racers who risked it all, the guys who drove long distances and those who came over to chat. We hope you had as much fun as us.
