Celebrating Ten Years, Parts4VW Invites The SoCal VW/Audi Community To Hang Out On Its Birthday.
It's a great milestone in the North American VW/Audi scene when a tuner reaches ten years of age. Several shops have come and gone in that time but the most respected and passionate ones adapt and flourish. As the industry continues to grow, we hope such well-known shops stay with us as new generations of cars and enthusiasts emerge.
Last February, VAG fanatics gathered in Temecula, CA to celebrate the big one-zero with Parts4VW (also know as Virtual World Parts).
Caravans from across SoCal met at the Temecula headquarters on a beautiful 80 Saturday. Over 400 people and 280 cars attended. Surprisingly, a substantial number of Mk5 GTIs and Rabbits were present, proving the new generation is on the rise. There was an abundance of other VW models as well, especially Mk2s and Mk4s.
People were treated to a complimentary barbecue, with a non-stop supply of burgers and hot dogs. Chips and cold drinks were also available to cool everybody from the hot sun.
In addition, attendees were treated to special discounts in the Parts4VW's retail shop. Vendors like H&R, VF-Engineering, Euro Sport and GIAC helped contribute to the sale event.
As one of the first VW/Audi gatherings of the year, it was a great success. Support your local tuners, and see you at the next get-together!
Happy Birthday!

We couldn't figure out if the owner of this Mk4 GTI is working on the car or maintaining the rat-look. Either way, it turned heads with a shaved body and old-school theme | We liked this silver Mk4 GTI on polished 18" SSR wheels. The GTI also featured Euro bumpers, 4-Motion valances, badgeless grille and OEM HIDs | This Mk5 Rabbit on 17" Keskin wheels must have lead one of the caravans with its "Move Over" message in painters tape |
The spotless Mk4 Jetta VR6 had a Golf front end, 19" five-spokes, OEM HIDs, stubby mirrors and more | Possibly our favorite Mk2 Jetta featured Work wheels, smoked lights and Euro bumpers | This GTI was an eye-catcher thanks to Oettinger styling, 18" Schmidt wheels and polished cage |
Showing up fashionably late, this Corrado was a delight with its polished 17" BBS LMs | This Mk5 GTI looked sharp on 19" BBS, lowered suspension and Votex styling | Arturo Ortega from Mexico built this Mk1 Caddy 16v with forced induction |
