Stunning is the best single word to describe day one of the Frankfurt Auto Show, with its cornucopia of wonderful cars we'll probably never see on this side of the pond.
Day 1 was heavily Volkwagen Audi Group with press events from Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda. Sharing many of the same platforms as cars here, VAG has done quite well in Europe creating unique and exciting cars badged and skinned to fit the local market.
Following up these, was a trip to the Festhalle building where Mercedes-Benz, Smart and Chrysler had setup shop filling a building to itself, as did BMW where it proudly unveiled its Z4 Coupe Concept, along with a host of made-for-Europe goodies.
