Okay, so it has been nearly a year since this event actually took place, but you have to forgive us. Sometimes we go to so many shows that it's all too easy to lose a couple rolls of film under a desk.
Wheel Power (www.wheelpower.com), the official importer of nearly all the high end German BMW and Mercedes stuff you'll ever need, decided to utilize its enormous parking lot for the second Wheel Power Fest show. The original Wheel Power Fest took place in late August of 2001; this Wheel Power Fest occurred nearly six months to the day later, in February 2002.
With mostly word of mouth advertising, Wheel Power managed to pull in a significant number of Bimmers and Mercedes, ranging from E30 M3s to E46 M3s to built 5-Series' and E-class'. Some of the wilder rides, however, came in the form of turbocharged E36 M3s.
We hung around for a while, chilled in Wheel Power's classy, air-conditioned show room, and then decided to snap a few shots for you--which, like I said, we promptly lost. But darn it, we decided to print the pictures as soon as we found them. And here they are.
